At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Work with government organizations to build new training solutions that increase workforce performance through competency identification and the assessment, design, and development of learning programs, curricula, and education delivery. * Analyze and research the client's learning situation, expectations, resources, learning needs, learning gaps, tasks, available software, technology, and infrastructure available to meet client needs. * Design curricula according to instructional principals, client objectives, and program objectives. * Develop practices that are structured, streamlined, and communicated to the team according to best practices for instructor–led training, Web–based training, virtual classroom, job aids, quick reference materials, and exercises. Implement practices surrounding the production of educational materials, the structuring of content rollout to instructors, facilitators, and students, and the general project management criteria associated with a training program. * Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization). * Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

  • TS Clearance required.
  • 2 years of Learning Design experience.
  • IT and/or help desk learning experience.
  • Experience building training materials (IG, SG, exercises).
  • Strong communication and interaction skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
  • U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
  • Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
  • Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
