The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for providing general administrative support as needed across the practices of the Pittsburgh office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Assist partners, senior directors and managers with general administrative tasks including (but not limited to) scheduling meetings, booking travel, entering expense reports, maintaining client sales system. * Assist the audit and tax practice with administrative and operational assistance including client engagement reports and deliverable preparation. * Assisting office with coordination of marketing events, promotional materials, and proposal production when required. * Process various letters and documentation as needed. * Support the overall operations of the office by building relationships with service line partners, managers, associates, administrative staff, and outside resources. * Seek additional assignments with little supervision. * Meet and greet all visitors, including clients, candidates and vendors. * Answer general telephone number. * Back up other administrative personnel during vacations, lunch hours, and to assist in peak load periods. * Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience: * Minimum 2-4 years of administrative experience with background in a public accounting or other professional services firm preferred * Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint – significant experience with each of these packages is required. * Strong communication skills, self-starter, excellent organizational skills, and excellent attendance record are musts.
