At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Develop dynamic Tableau visualizations to create various reports required both internally and client stakeholders at various leadership levels, as well as externally for other Federal agencies/departments and the public Conduct data validation and verification, as well as quality and system capability checks to identify data errors Design and build new dashboards using Tableau visualization platform Provide Tableau training (Desktop / Server) to the client to ensure reports are sustainable over time Identify opportunities to improve existing reports and incorporate into Tableau visualizations Identify opportunities for non-Tableau data process improvements that can be integrated with data for more impactful analyses Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization). Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
2-4 years of hands-on Tableau Desktop development experience required Experience leading meetings with clientele and presenting draft and final analytic solutions required Experience identifying enhancements/improvements to existing data processes, i.e. macro enabled solutions required Experience with Tableau Server and Microsoft Access preferred Experience leading analytics-related trainings preferred Experience working with financial data preferred Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field. Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees. U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required. Travel may be required. Ability to work overtime required on occasion. Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally. Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements. Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
