ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Support various roles within Financial Management Division (FMD) within the Budget Formulation and Performance branch * Work directly with a senior level client ensuring timely and high quality deliverables * Lead and facilitate meetings between clients and stakeholders * Be flexible, innovative, show initiative, and manage face-paced situations * Prepare briefings for executive and senior level clients * Manage the relationship with senior level clients and all stakeholders * Develop a multi-year PPBE strategy and plan focused on improving client budget processes and incorporating cost modeling and performance measures into the budget formulation decision making process. * Assist client in communicating through the development of documents, briefings, and issue papers. * Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization). * Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

  • Masters degree is required in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
  • Experience preparing and presenting executive-level briefings
  • accounting, financial accounting, auditing, budget analysis, process analysis, oral and written communication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience directly interfacing with clients
  • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite with a good understanding of Excel
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Prior federal budgeting experience is a plus
  • Ability to communicate technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
  • U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
  • Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
  • Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
